By entering Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) you agree to be bound by the following conditions of entry:

  1. Respect the rights of Centre staff and other Centre Members & Guests at all times whilst you are in the Centre.
  2. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied and closely supervised at all times by a responsible person aged 18 years or older. Children under the age of 5 must swim with a responsible person aged 18 years or older within arm’s reach of them. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied into the centre by a responsible adult who shall remain accessible (in person) in the centre for the duration of the child’s visit. Children unaccompanied by an adult may be refused entry at the discretion of Centre staff.
  3. You, and any children under your care, must obey all Centre safety signage, including but not limited to, the swimming pool and gym rules which are located at the entrance of each facilities, warnings, rules and safety instructions.
  4. You must not prevent any staff member from performing his or her duties. You must follow the reasonable directions of any staff member in relation to your use of the Centre’s facilities.
  5. You must take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for the health and safety of any children in your care.
  6. Smoking, glass, alcohol or drugs are not permitted in the Centre.
  7. You must not commit any acts of vandalism or cause any damage to the Centre or Centre equipment or facilities.
  8. Abusive, disruptive, threatening, offensive behavior or language, rough play, smoking (including the outdoor grounds), littering or spitting are not permitted at any time.
  9. Cameras and mobile phones are not permitted in change rooms.
  10. Photography of any kind is prohibited unless permission is given by Centre staff.
  11. The Centre does not take responsibility for your personal items left unattended in the Centre. Secure lockers are available for your use. If any items are left behind after your visit to the Centre, then the Centre will retain those items in its lost property area for a maximum period specified by the Centre. After the expiry of that period of time, those items will be considered abandoned and become the property of the Centre.
  12. Only Centre staff are permitted to conduct any programs & services
  13. You agree that closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) may be installed and used throughout the Centre for security and safety purposes.
  14. You enter the Centre, use Centre facilities and participate in Centre activities at your own risk. You agree that you, and not the Centre, are primarily responsible for your safety and the safety of any persons under you supervision.
  15. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability and responsibility to you is excluded in respect of any and all loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, including without limitation any personal injury, loss, actions, costs, claims, charges, expenses, penalties, demands and damage which may be brought, made or claimed against the Centre, arising from your use of the facilities at the Centre.
  16. In the event that you suffer an injury at the Centre, you consent to any first aid treatment that Centre staff may reasonably consider necessary or desirable.
  17. We reserve the right to refuse entry if we suspect that you are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
  18. We reserve the right to close any part of the facility at any time.
  19. Should you breach any of these conditions of entry, the Centre reserves the right to remove you from the Centre and any future entry may be refused.
  20. We reserve the right to authorise Centre staff or other representatives, agents or contractors to take photographs and videos of patrons from time to time, including you or any minors in your care or under your supervision, for marketing or promotional purposes without prior notice to you, payment to you or express consent from you. By entering into and using the Facilities you are deemed to consent to such photos or video footage being taken, unless you inform our staff members otherwise.
  21. For your safety, the safety of any children in your care, the Centre staff and other Centre patrons, the public areas of the Centre are monitored by Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras and other recording devices. By entering and using the facilities at the premises you are deemed to consent to being recorded by our CCTV cameras for security and safety purposes.
