Welcome back to PARC Swim!
We’re excited to announce that due to popularity, we’ve been able to create space in our PARC Swim program and bookings for a 4-week program are now OPEN!
How will it work?
Our 4-week program is a one-off set fee opportunity for our current PARC Swim families to get their children back into the water and learning before the end of the year.
This program is offered predominately for our Tadpole members and our more advanced swimmers in levels 7,8 and Advanced on weekends. We have also managed to create some additional spaces within our weekday programming for all levels, so please enquire below if you are still interested.
Due to the limited capacity, we cannot offer this to all our members and therefore bookings must be secured by payment on a first come first serve basis.
We remain committed to ensuring every child in Frankston can swim, and as a result we have prioritised our learn to swim programming for this reopening and are pleased we have been able to extend the program.
What happens when I book?
Once we receive your booking request from our website we will confirm the time of your session and teacher. Similar to our Summer intensive program we cannot accommodate preferences on times as we have such a limited capacity. For the first week, your child will be placed in the same level as prior to closure. The teacher will assess your child’s skills during the first couple of weeks and teach to the developmental level of your child.
Timings and Pricing
- The PARC Swim 4-week program for current members commences on Monday 23 November
- Price is a set fee of $60 per person for the full four weeks
The four–week program will run until the end of term 4 – the last day will be Sunday 20 December
Frequently Asked Questions
At this time we are still in planning stages for a reopening of PARC Swim lessons in 2021. Right now, we are offering this short-term set fee 5-week program for those members that are keen to get their children back to lessons.
The full payment for the 4-week program is a $60 flat fee that must be paid when the PARC Swim team calls you to book the class. Payment will be taken over the phone. We are unable to hold spaces and payment will secure the spot.
No. This program is for our dedicated members who have stayed with us during closure. Due to the limited spaces we cannot open to the wider public.
Yes they will but we strongly advise you to arrive as close to your lesson time as possible with your child already in their bathers underneath their clothes. We ask that after the lesson, you leave the Centre as quickly as possible to allow the next group of children to safely come to their lesson.
Unfortunately due to our limited capacity we can only have ONE supervising adult and NO siblings of the child that is swimming (with the exception of very small babies under 12 months). You will need alternative arrangements for siblings at the time of the lesson, please bear this in mind before you book.
All children will go back into the same level that they left. During the first two weeks our teachers will assess abilities and there maybe movement within the classes after the first week. However, our teachers always aim to teach individual children at their required level, even if there is variation within the class.
Missed lessons won’t be refunded. We encourage only families that can commit to the full 5-week program to apply as we want to be able to offer this to as many people as we can.
Not a problem, still complete the request and our PARC Swim team will be able to find their level.
No. Not during this initial reopening. The only access to the Centre you will have is at your PARC Swim lesson time.
If you wish to access the pool for lap swimming you can do so by booking a session.
No. Due to the limited capacity of people allowed in the pool, adults can only supervise from the sidelines during lessons. There is only 1 supervising adult permitted on the poolside per child / family.
Yes you will, at all times when in the Centre. Under the restrictions, there is no requirement for the swim teacher to wear a mask whilst teaching.
