Class Booking FAQ

How do I book online?

You can book online using the My PARC app on an iOS or Android device, via the PARC Facebook page, or via the group exercise timetable on the website. Only PARC members can book classes online.

When can I book my class?

Online bookings open to members 7 days in advance and close 5 minutes before the class starts.

Is there a waitlist?

Yes, you will be able to waitlist for classes that are full when booking via the My PARC app, Facebook page or PARC website.

How will I know if I have been moved from the waitlist into a class?

You will receive a notification via email. If you waitlist for a class we recommend checking your schedule regularly to see if you have been added to the class.

What do I do if I no longer want to attend a class I have waitlisted for?

You can cancel out of the waitlist just like you would a class.

How do I check in?

You can check in on the My PARC app when you are in the Centre up to 20 minutes before the class starts, or you can check in at the studios using your member band or card up to 20 minutes before a class starts. Casual users will be checked into their class at the time of booking.

Will I still receive a paper ticket?

No, we will no longer use a paper ticket system.

What happens if I don’t check in or attend a class I am booked in to?

You will be registered as a no-show and will receive a strike against your account.

How many strikes do I get?

You will receive 3 strikes on your account. Once you use these strikes you will be unable to book online for 7 days. You will still have access to in-Centre booking during this time.

How do I cancel online?

You can cancel via the My PARC app, PARC website or PARC Facebook up to 2 hours before a class starts.

What happens if I cancel late?

If you cancel within 2 hours of a class starting you will receive a strike against your account.

How do I book in-Centre?

You can book in Centre using your member wristband at the downstairs and upstairs booking kiosks. Casual users can book into classes at Reception.

When can I book my class?

In-Centre bookings open 2 hours before a class starts and close at the start of the class.

Is there a waitlist?

No, the waitlist is for online bookings only.

I am on the waitlist online and trying to book a spot in-Centre, why can’t I book?

In order to book a class in-Centre you cannot be on the online waitlist for that class. You must first remove yourself from the waitlist and then try booking again via the in-Centre kiosk.

How do I check in?

You can check in on the My PARC app when you are in the Centre up to 20 minutes before the class starts, or you can check in at the studios using your member band or card up to 20 minutes before a class starts. Casual users will be checked into their class at the time of booking.

Can I recur bookings?

You cannot make recurring bookings in-Centre.

What do I do if I forget my member band or card?

If you forget your member band or card you can book (2 hours in advance) and check in via Reception.

How do I set up notifications and reminders in the My PARC app?

In the My PARC app you have the option to receive class reminders, in the settings you can choose to receive a reminder 15/30/45/60/90/120 minutes before a class starts. You can also add a class to your calendar.

How do I set up email and text message notifications?

Using the My Account function on the PARC website, login to your account and select ‘Edit communication preferences’, you can then select how you would like to receive notifications about Account Management, Schedule Updates and News and Promos.

I am trying to reset my password to my account and I keep getting the error message ‘ There are multiple records in our system for that e-mail address. Please contact our studio so we can resolve this for you’, what does this mean?

This means that your email address is being used for multiple accounts in-Centre (i.e. sharing an email address as a family or sharing an email address for swim school members). If you would like to be able to book online, please update your email address in-Centre to a non-shared email.
