CLOSURE QUESTIONS
We’re closed.
Unfortunately Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) is closed, effective 8.20pm Wednesday 8 July 2020 due to government restrictions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is PARC closed?
The Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that Melbourne will return to stage three lockdown for six weeks from midnight Wednesday 8 July. This means that Victorians living in metropolitan Melbourne will only be able to leave home for one of four reasons – work and education (if it can’t be done from home), exercise, care and compassionate reasons, and for food and supplies. As we are considered a non-essential activity, we will therefore close as a result of this directive.
How long will you be closed?
At this point, we will remain closed for the next 6 weeks, as directed by the State Government. We will be guided by advice from the Victorian Government as to when these restrictions will be lifted.
