PARC Road to Reopen
We’re working towards a November reopen
On Sunday 19 September the Victorian Government announced its phased Roadmap to Deliver the National Plan. The Roadmap sets us on a steady path to reopening Victoria. When vaccination thresholds are reached, public health advice allows certain restrictions to be safely lifted, with key milestones determining our ability to reopen PARC, and open Pines for the season.
We’ve been taking time to pick through the details of this Roadmap, and what this means for our reopen plans.
Based on what we know today, PARC may be able to reopen in early November, and Pines can potentially open for it’s usual season start on 1 November. These dates will be subject to confirmation from the Victorian Government that we have reached the vaccination threshold requirements to safely reopen, allowing appropriate time for us to prepare the facility and ensure the right systems are in place.
While this is still a little way off, this is really welcome news and allows us to focus our planning and energy on new processes and requirements to help keep our community safe. Facilities like PARC and Pines have never had to contend with vaccinated entries before. We have a challenging task ahead of us to ensure we can comply with the Premier’s restrictions as set out in the Roadmap, and at the same time offer exceptional community access, health and wellbeing services.
We will continue to update you on our Road to Reopen journey, so please keep checking back here for all the latest!

PARC closed at 7:00pm on Thursday 5 August, in line with the Victorian Government imposed lockdown. Victoria’s lockdown has been extended and at this point we are unable to confirm our reopen date, with this being dependent on Victoria’s vaccination first dose percentage, as outlined by the Premier.
No, memberships remain on suspension during this further lockdown period. All membership accounts will be credited for the 7-days of closure. This will be applied at the next direct debit payment.
As we learn more, we will share updates with you. We will constantly update our website and social media as the situation develops. Make sure you follow us on socials here.
